Before I get to this issue, isn’t it just impressive that this book has had the same writer and artist for ten issues straight, and the book has remained on time? Superior Foes of Spider-Man #15 Review! This Comic, Right?
So continues the series that does not want to die. This is also a book I cheer every time it comes out, because it has been a consistently funny and charming read. Following a group of C-level (at best) supervillains as they attempt to make a name for themselves in the Marvel underworld and achieve personal wealth and power. All along the way they stab each other in the back, lie through their teeth, and generally just can’t seem to get along. This series has shown that writer Nick Spencer can write very funny comedies when he’s allowed to just have fun with the world, including established serious characters (Dr. Doom anyone?). Steve Lieber also proves that he has great comedic timing when it comes to portraying the actions of the characters, the most notable example would be Mark 7’s attempts to maneuver out a window or around a room with his wings extended. Original Sin #8 Review! Answers have arrived
The marvel summer event, Original Sin, is now completely finished. We finally get the answers that we’ve been waiting for, for all of the many questions we’ve been given. Actually, that isn’t entirely true. A couple of the larger questions posed within the series were left untouched. I definitely enjoyed this series from start to finish even with the slight dip it took in the middle of this arc. Luckily this issue was able to finish off the series on an upturn. Through the last few decades, Wolverine has become a household name, and has gained an incredible amount of fame in and outside the culture of comics. One would have never thought that Marvel would toy with the idea of killing off this immensely popular character, until now, when they totally are going to do just that.
