If you’ve been a part of the My Marvelous Year reading club since Jan 1. 2016, you know full well that we have now covered an entire decade of Marvel Comics, plowing through the 1960s in eight weeks.

If this is the first you’re hearing of My Marvelous Year, we’re reading 10 Marvel stories published during one calendar year each week. So the first week of 2016 we read Marvel Comics published during 1962 (plus Fantastic Four #1 in November 1961), the second week of 2016 we read Marvel Comics published during 1963, and so on. Where to Start With Doctor Strange Comics

Doctor Strange is perhaps the best example of an all-time Marvel great whose limited collected comics, strange Marvel Unlimited gaps, and general continuity obfuscation have kept the character in the dark for many comic book fans. If he’s not the leader in confusing comics paths, he’s certainly up there with the Silver Surfer and The X-Men.

As you might imagine, it has taken nearly all my mystical might, and a consultative visit to the domain of the Dread Dormammu himself, to put together a reading order for Dr. Strange comics! Deadpool The Movie: Some @$$hat’s Review

Much like every plan Deadpool’s ever had, there are about a million ways Deadpool’s first movie could have gone wrong. It’s a superhero deconstruction, wrapped inside a romantic comedy, sprinkling body horror on top of the comic book origin story template. If played wrong, this could have been a crass, unforgivable trainwreck, leaving everyone in the theater feeling like Deadpool after he used Colossus as a kickboxing bag.
