As promised in last week’s introduction, I’m kicking things off with Uncanny X-Men #193—the hundredth issue since Giant-Size X-Men #1, which was, of course, the first appearance of the “new” X-Men team. It’s from 1985, right smack in the middle of the first of my two favorite X-Men decades. [Read more…] about Old-School X-Men with Lincoln Crisler: Uncanny X-Men #193

X-Men #1 Review! 100th Anniversary Special – After 51 Years of X-Men
A classic Marvel tale: X-Men in the future. As someone who buys almost every single X-Men title currently on the shelves (about 9), and who loves the old Claremont and Morrison runs, I’ll jump on the chance to buy an X-Men future story. Original Sin #6 Review! Who Pulled the Trigger? (We Still Don’t Know)
The Marvel summer event book Original Sin continues in this week’s offering Original Sin #6. With only 2 issues left in the series we still have many unanswered question in this mystery thriller and seem to get 2 new ones every time another is answered.

Magneto #7 Review! The Master of Magnetism is Seriously Underrated
I have been saying to anyone who will listen to me lately that Magneto is probably the most underrated book from Marvel at the moment. Only hitting its seventh issue this month, the pages of Magneto have been crafting an interesting and exciting adventure from the perspective of this long time villain, sometimes hero of the Marvel universe.
