“Batman: Assault on Arkham” is the latest film in the DC Animated Universe series. The film is based off the popular “Arkham” video game series (Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Arkham Origins, and next year Arkham Knight). The film actually takes place between two of the games (Origins and Asylum). The story follows Batman (Kevin Conroy) as he faces the “Suicide Squad” and the Joker (Troy Baker) during a deadly night in Arkham Asylum. Gambit Reading Order Part 2: Early 90’s X-Men: Blue Team, Uncanny, and Gambit Mini!
Previously: The introduction of Gambit in Uncanny X-Men
With so many potential X-Men, Marvel played a smart move – they split the X-Men into two teams, Blue and Gold, and Gambit was on the Blue. Even with surprising characterization changes, and a wasted Thanos appearance, Guardians of the Galaxy is the funniest Marvel movie of all, and in my top three favorites.
