Welcome to Comic Book Herald’s countdown of the best comic books of the decade! Throughout the remainder of 2019, Dave and John will be picking the best 70 books of the 2010’s, and writing a few thoughts on their picks.

As you’d expect, many of these will come from Comic Book Herald’s 500 best comics of all time, of course editing for those that have been released in the past 10 years. Jessica Jones Season 3 & The Lessons of Marvel on Netflix

It’s the end of an era for Marvel Television as it’s existed since Netflix Daredevil season one debuted in 2015. In the wake of the news that Kevin Feige’s taking over as Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer (see also: The One Above All!), Godfather style executions have started rolling out across the Marvel TV landscape. The (Undead) People’s History Of Marvel Zombies!

It used to only stand for coded shade thrown at fans exclusively consuming Marvel comic books, but in the past two decades, the phrase “Marvel Zombies” has taken on an all-new, all-deadly (after)life!

Originating circa an industry-wide popularity surge of shambling corpses championed largely by Robert Kirkman and company’s The Walking Dead for Image Comics, what allegedly starts as a joke during one of Marvel’s famous creator retreats becomes so much more.
