I had the great experience of interviewing James Spooner, creator of The High Desert, one of my favorite graphic novels of 2022, and you can hear our full conversation on Comic Book Herald’s “Creannotators,” on the podcast.

Emma Frost Reading Order!
Created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, Emma Frost was the White Queen of the Hellfire Club. She initially opposed the X-Men, but soon we started learning more about her and how much she cares about children. After that, Emma began to change sides and have a more friendly relationship with the X-Men and the New Mutants.
Emma is a deep character and she is often said to be one of the most interesting characters in the X-Men universe. She has been part of many acclaimed stories over time, like the New X-Men run by Grant Morrison, Generation X, and the now publishing Krakoan age that started with Hickman’s House of X & Powers of X.
