For the first time since Avengers: Endgame we know what the outline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will look like through 2021. In a blend of unmitigated excitement and reaction to 8 million requests for related reading orders (which I have for every Phase 4 movie outlined! Planning!), I’ve put together a reading companion for all of Phase 4.
AMC TV has built a pretty darn impressive reputation over the course of the last four or five years. Shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad have transformed the network from HBO rerun/National Lampoon’s Vacation specialist, to the premiere source of high-quality cable television. One constant with the success has been an admirable resolve to avoid running for the sake of a surge in adrenaline. Instead, AMC has won its share of critical acclaim with a cocksure walk.

I haven’t really learned a lot about life from Archer season one. I think maybe I learned about avoiding ants in my office place, and also to never EVER use “M as in Mancy” when trying to communicate letters over the phone, but otherwise, this isn’t really a life lessons kind of show. That said, it did make me think a lot about the potential for animated television and how that relates to the comic book industry, the benefits of in-laws and also the Arrested Development movie that may or may not happen.
