I know this ep is old, but I wanted to comment re. Zack/Dave @~49:00 from a slightly younger perspective… In my experience a lot of teens and young adults get their manga from bookstores now, especially Barnes & Noble. Maybe anecdotal, but every manga reader my age that I know shops in person at least sometimes. Contrary to the convenience of Amazon etc., I think it’s actually becoming more common, because people like the brick-and-mortar as a third place for socializing. Every time I go to B&N the manga section is packed with teens/college students, usually there with friends or dates. And I know I used to go with friends in high school all the time. Anyway love the show!
Thanks for the feedback! I used to love sitting in the Barnes & Noble comics aisle, funny that it’s come back around!
