The Vision Reading Order

April 23, 2018 by Dave Leave a Comment

The Vision is actually one of many Avengers to join the team after a beginning as a potential threat. Much like Wonder Man, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Hawkeye before him, the Vision was more easily categorized as a villain in his very first brushes with the Avengers.

Of course, unlike those other longtime Avengers, the Vision is an android created by the genocidal Ultron. Vision is able to heroically overcome his programming to defy Ultron and become one of the most respected heroes in Avengers’ history.

With the Avengers, Vision began a romance and eventual marriage with Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, and even for a time had twin children. Their romance has met several complications throughout the decades, most recently with Vision crafting his own android wife and children as part of Tom King and Gabriel Hernandez Walta’s critically acclaimed twelve issue Vision series.

Below you’ll find a complete guide to Vision’s comic book appearances, from his time with the Avengers through teams like the West Coast Avengers or Avengers A.I.
