ResurrXion is both the biggest “we better fit X into this event name” stretch in Marvel history, and a welcome return to a less endangered mutant race (as if they’re ever truly safe). Escalating genocide has been rushing headlong towards the X-Men since House of M and Decimation in 2005, with the post Secret Wars (2015) mutants under constant threat of an Inhuman terrigenesis plague cloud.
Starting with ResurrXion, the X-Men will regroup into classic teams more familiar to fans of the comic in the late 80’s and 90’s. Below you’ll find the comics that help explain where the X-Men are coming from to get to this point, as well as a reading order for the new event and presumed jumping on launch.

Didn’t see X-Men: Blue vol. 2. Where does that fit in?
maurizio says
but where’s the rest?!
Mario says
What is next after these?
Adam Stephens says
Just to let you know that X-Men: Gold Vol. 1 doesn’t contain X-Men Prime . Otherwise thank you for all your work.
Jesse says
Needs an update. Issues missing

Cable 2 and 4 tie in, but 3 doesn’t?
euls12 says
Same thing with Iceman? 2 and 4 connect, but 3 doesn’t?
Worst Comic Book Guy ever says
Is anyone else confused about how Old Man Logan is one minute in space, one minute an unconscious body with Asmodeous, then one minute with Sabertooth in Weapon X #2?
How is he all over the place? Issue by issue?
Ryan McClintick says
update please
Sean says
I have a question. What’s the better reading order. The TPB or issues one? Because the issues one seems to be just a release list?
P says
I prefer the TPB order since I don’t like to jump around from series to series. Lot of work to keep the order correct. I find with most X-Men crossovers that you can usually read a TPB at a time and then go to another series and still know what’s going on.
Elijah says
If you are still including the Inhumans stuff don’t forget Black Bolt #1 came out this week too.
Dave says
Good call, thanks!
Phillip Lee says
Thanks for the updates! Keep up the good work!

update pls

Just had a further look into this, and apparently there will also be an Iceman series. Next to that, Inhumans Prime, Royals, and Black Bolt are said to also be part of ResurrXion. You know, because those also come from Inhumans vs. X-Men.
