From approximately 2004 through 2007, the broader world of Marvel’s X-Men is defined by the events House of M, Decimation, and Messiah CompleX.

There are of course other major comics – for example the conclusion of Joss Whedon and John Cassaday’s Astonishing X-Men – but Messiah CompleX effectively serves as both conclusion and new beginning for the X-Men of the 2000’s.

Below you’ll find a guide to all X-Men events between Messiah CompleX and Avengers vs. X-Men, effectively taking you through an eventful 5 year stretch (2007 to 2012) in X-Men comics.     There’s a good number of these events, including Nation X and Necrosha, which do not appear at all in the main guide. Are there any plans to add them?
