Miles Morales has quickly become one of the biggest stars in Marvel Comics, and certainly one of the best new character creations of the 2000’s. Miles has gone from taking up the mantle of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Universe to sharing the title with Peter Parker in Marvel’s “main” Earth-616 timeline.
Technically, Miles makes his Ultimate Universe introduction in the pages of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #7 and Ultimate Fallout #4, but it’s really in his own Ultimate Comics Spider-Man launch that the character becomes an instant must-read.
Below you’ll find a complete guide to Miles Morales comics, from the Ultimate Universe on through present day.

Zub in this series has an expanded roster, made up of a large and diverse group of young heroes. Although the group is large this particular story arc focuses on Miles in particular who makes a deal with the devil. It is a suitable jumping on point for the champions and the story is good.

Veggie says
Secret Empire occurs prior to at most Spider-Man #20 as Miles references it when talking to Ganke
Veggie says
Spider-Men II takes place before Sinister Six Reborn as it is where Miles first meets Barbara Rodriguez
Veggie says
Sinister Six Reborn is of course issues 234-240
Trevor says
There’s absolutely no way that Spider-Men should be read before Ultimate Comics: Spider-man issues 11-18 (volume 3). If Miles gets web shooters from 616 Peter in Spider-men and doesn’t have them in issue 11 of UC: Spider-man, then why would you not read volume 3 first? I tried using this list and I’m glad I decided to think for myself when things didn’t add up. I feel like these reading orders are relatively haphazard in how they’re sequenced.
Trevor says
or, rather, he didn’t get web shooters from peter, but gained his blessing–which instilled confidence. Confidence he did not have in volume three.
Abhav says
hey can i skip ultimate comics united we stand divided we fall, all new xmen , all new ultimates, cataclysm, gwen and spideman sitting on a tree, old man logan , secret empire, gwenpool the unbelievable , marvel generations and war of the realms journey into mystery
Michael Jackson's Son From The Future says
Update your website, you bum.
Anthony says
Spider-Men II actually comes between volumes 3 and 4 of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. You also forgot to include Spider-Geddon.
Igor says
Will i get confused if i start The Ultimates from issue 13? Should i read it from the beginning for better understanding of Miles’ storyline or is it not necessary?
Kyle says
I am noticing there is a mix of 616 and ultimate universe here, do I just mixnthe two with this reading order and follow as normal or do I pick just one?
Dave says
You can read both. If you want to stick to Ultimate and not worry about 616 continuity (and those X-Men crossovers can be a doozy), skip All-New X-Men. I don’t recommend skipping Spider-Verse, though.
