Loki Reading Order

November 6, 2017 by Dave 4 Comments

There are few moments in Marvel comics more enjoyable than the inevitable yet somehow still surprising Loki trick. Just when you think you can trust the character, just when you think it’s been long enough and there’s certainly no going back now, Loki reveals some wild scheme to overtake Asgard and ascend to his rightful place on the throne.

Loki’s family issues aren’t hard to fathom – Imagine if your Dad grounded you by tying you to a tree on an island with NO SOUND – but it’s his dedication to the destruction of Thor and ruling Asgard that make the trickster god what he is. This history makes more recent takes on the character by the likes of Kieron Gillen all the more fascinating.

Below you’ll find a complete chronology for Loki comics books throughout the Marvel Universe, from his beginnings as Thor’s archnemesis to more modern interpretations like Kid Loki and Teen Loki: Agent of Asgard.

I was wondering where Loki (2019) and the new Thor (2020) series fit?

Thanks for the great list! Makes Jane Foster’s and the Agent of Asgard series less confusing. I was wondering, though, where the Ms. Marvel issue that features Loki falls in the timeline? He features in her twelfth issue.

Would you know where I could find a list that doesnt necessarily go through the date the comics were made, but through lokis story starting from child to adult?
