Few writers, artists, or creative minds have influenced the DC Universe of the 2000’s the same way as Geoff Johns. Across era defining works like Green Lantern: Rebirth, Infinite Crisis, Blackest Night, and Flashpoint, Johns has dramatically shaped DC Comics as we know the today.
Below you’ll find a complete guide to the DC Universe of Geoff Johns. I’ve labeled my personal favorite series with the Comic Book Herald logo next to the comic title.

It’s a testament to Johns’ meteoric rise that these JSA collections bear his full brand name in the title, given that the first five issues are written by David Goyer and James Robinson, and co-written beyond. Nonetheless, Johns’ love for the DC Universe is clear from his start on the revived Justice Society of America. Particular credit goes to the work put into making Black Adam a significantly more interesting character, with payoffs throughout the remainder of the decade.

What a great breakdown of Geoff Johns’s DC books. I’m a big Johns fan and have all the books in the collection save for Hawkman and Teen Titans and they are all really good. My first time reading a Geoff Johns totals was the Sinesteo Corps War and I was really enjoying it. Then I got a page where the hero’s were in trouble. I turned the page to see a spread of the GLC charge in to save the day. It was such a powerful moment. I had never felt that excitement reading a comic before. But this grabbed me. I’ll never forget that page turn. Now that I have collected all his works, at least all his works I intend to collect, I’m going back to the start to read it all in order. That’s where this list comes in. You’ve made this venture of mine possible. So thank you! I’m very much looking forward to this voyage.
