March 19, 2012 by Dave 15 Comments

Keep reading for the Comic Book Herald overview.

Comic Book Run: Fantastic Four/Inhumans (Marvel Comics, Annihilation)

Issues: Read Inhumans #1 to #4 and then Fantastic Four #51 to #54

Writer: Carlos Pachecho

Continuity Relevance?: Yes, minor. Some Inhuman relocation.

Who Needs It?: I didn’t say you needed this.

The Fantastic Four 51-54 mentioned here, in which volume or year were they published.
I already have the Inhumans issues separately.

Believe so, yes. It’s a short 4 issue Inhumans series (if there’s a fifth issue in the series that’s not it!).

Is the Elektra (1-22) important to read? Considering skipping it altogether.

It’s passable. Not hugely essential unless you’re into Elektra.

I’m not really into her. Is there any major continuity relevance?

For Electra after I just read it your not missing huge to skip it. I would say though if you do want to read it and your reading on the marvel unlimited skip to number 10. The first arc almost made me give it up. The rest is pretty decent reading though.

The first arc was much worse than the rest, for sure.

I’d recommend swapping the order these are listed in so you read inhumans first 51-54 of the fantastic four so it follows chronologically

Yeah! Read Inhumans first! I’m following the “Early 2000s Until Avengers Disassembled” list. Got to this part and feel the same. Came here to see if I did get something wrong.
