Topics discussed:
– Why did Don Rosa insert so much geography into his comics (bc it’s cool)?
– Is Rosa stronger when writing adventure comics or slapstick comics?
– I ask again, where is Roboduck?
Next up, we’re doing a one part series on Calvin & Hobbes.
After that, we’re doing a twelve part series on Hellboy (and all the various spin-offs).
This is too much to list in the show notes, so we’re only going to post next month’s reading list, but the full 12-month reading list can be found on the Patreon Master Spreadsheet ($1/month).
The first Hellboy reading:
Seed of Destruction
Wake the Devil
The Chained Coffin and Others
The Right Hand of Doom
Conqueror Worm
Strange Places
