For literal years now, I’ve been terrified mildly anxious of the technical skills required to get Marvel Unlimited on my Amazon Fire (10″ HD). Every time I’ve looked into making this happen, I’ve run in to discussions of “rooting” devices, and while I consider myself mentally adequate (yes, this is a self-diagnosis, what of it?), the general language made me worry my Kindle would explode in the process.
I am that worried little man, no more! Getting Marvel Unlimited on your Kindle Fire is easy.
Sure, it took the slow degradation of my cheap Android tablet (to the point that I’d wait – no joke – 2 to 5 minutes for comics to load on Marvel Unlimited) to get me to actually test this out, but the future is a beautiful place.
Here’s what you do:
- Go to your settings and select “Privacy
- Turn off your device, and restart it. This may or may not make any difference, but it feels right.
- Follow all the steps in this How to Geek article – the first approach worked like a charm for me.
- Read the ever-lovin’ pants off over 25,000 digital comics in the Marvel Unlimited library.
Really, it’s that easy!

The entire process took me approximately 4 years of paranoia, and 25 minutes of actually getting Marvel Unlimited on my Kindle Fire.

Fantastic resource, worked perfectly! I was just as terrified of accidentally bricking my Kindle, and not a single strange thing happened. Just a few careful clicks and you’ll be soaring through comics!
