Every Marvel Video Game Ever!

Believe or not, not everyone got into Marvel comic books, because of the Marvel comic books. Whether it was the cinematic Avengers that caught your eye, or playing Marvel Vs Capcom 3 over and over again, there’s plenty of  the great Marvel Universe outside the comics.

That’s how I went about it at least. Playing Spider-Man 64, and X-Men Arcade during my childhood helped give me exposure to the Marvel universe in my later years. Don’t get me wrong, many of the games on the list may not appeal to you, but as long as you can find that one or two to enjoy, that makes this list worth it.

Whether you enjoy web swinging with Spider-Man, slicing and dicing with Wolverine, or flying around with Iron Man, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Everything from beat ‘em ups, RPGs, action-adventure, and even puzzle games (If you’re into that kind of stuff). Make sure you check out X-Men: The Arcade Game, and X-Men vs. Street Fighter, as those are some of the best on this list, and available to play online for free.

Without further ado, here is the full extensive list of every Marvel video game ever. Make sure to comment on which ones you enjoy, (or hate) which ones you remember playing as a child, (or adult) or if there are any games we missed. Enjoy!

Marvel Video Games

1 – Spider-Man

This was the first ever Marvel video game, as well as Spider-Man’s first appearance in a game. The game involves using Spidey’s web lines to climb up a building, defusing the Green Goblin’s bombs scattered around. Although the graphics weren’t exactly revolutionary, many people around this time enjoyed the game for being able to control a super hero for the first time.
